The WrestleVerse Fest event has been the new wave of entertainment for the second largest WWE market outside the United States, i.e., India. The event is the next Comic Con for wrestling fans in India who have been clamoring for such activations in the country. The company presented the first edition of the WrestleVerse Fest in 2022 which took place in New Delhi, India. The event was an extravaganza for the passionate fans of India. However, the interesting part was the inclusion of top WWE superstars in various capacities, which made the event even more monumental.
Which WWE superstars appeared at the WrestleVerse Fest in India?

Despite being the first edition of WrestleVerse in India, Wrestlefanent, with limited resources and their frugal mindset, managed to have WWE superstar appearances at the event that took place in Monkey Bar in New Delhi. One of them was a top prospect from India, while the other one was a WWE Hall of Famer.

The first celebrity guest to grace the stage of WrestleVerse was WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam. While being far away in the United States, Wrestlefanent managed to make RVD a part of the WrestleVerse Fest via an online medium. Van Dam had already appeared on the platform for an interview and was more than thrilled to make an online appearance at WrestleVerse for his fanbase in India.
He appeared on the LED screen placed at the location, and as soon as RVD came on, fans were unglued to see him. Two lucky winners from a draw organized got the opportunity to interact with him. In that conversation, RVD was asked about which one superstar he would like to face if he returned for one more match. “I don’t know, maybe Bobby Lashley. I have been in the ring with him before and he is in a very, very good position right now,” said RVD.
The other former WWE superstar who made an on-ground appearance at the WrestleVerse Fest was Satendra Dagar, aka Jeet Rama, from the land of India. He signed with WWE in 2015 and had been making waves for his stint in WWE NXT. His most notable match came against the Phenomenal One, AJ Styles, at a special event titled WWE Superstar Spectacle, telecasted primarily for the Indian market. However, he was released from WWE in November 2021.
Jeet Rama was the in-person celebrity guest for WrestleVerse. He came to watch the show and see fans engage in a lot of activities. His main participation came as an exclusive autograph signing session for the fans of India. Lastly, he even presented a fan with the WFE Championship upon winning it in a multi-fan WFE-style trivia challenge, which was a huge moment for the fanbase as a whole.
With two of the top WWE superstars making their appearance at the first edition of WrestleVerse, it will be interesting to see more top stars become a part of the event in the years to come. Wrestlefanent is currently working on expanding the event concept on a large scale and has plans to have even bigger stars in person for their forthcoming events.
