John Cena turning heel has been called a game-changing night for WWE, and fans are already hyped to see heel Cena go up against Cody Rhodes on the road to WrestleMania 41.
However, in the new WrestleMania 41 Predictions, there has been speculation about whether Cody Rhodes was the best choice for John Cena to battle at The Show of Shows. While Rhodes is the flagship star of WWE today, there were still other marquee WWE stars who could have been top opponents for the heel version of John Cena at WrestleMania this year.

The duo had a brief altercation inside the Elimination Chamber this year and had one of the storied rivalries in WWE history. A clash between Cena and Punk at WrestleMania would have been a monumental bout for this year’s match card.
Another top match that John Cena could have had would have been against perhaps his biggest WWE rival, Randy Orton. The duo is one of the biggest names in WWE history. Moreover, this time, it would have been a role reversal, as Orton is currently a babyface, and Cena turned heel, which would have made the dynamics of the match even more interesting.
