The WWE Women’s Division has broken barriers, shattered glass ceilings, and redefined the heights a woman can reach in professional wrestling. Continuing to evolve the division and women’s wrestling, WWE made a groundbreaking announcement on this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW that could potentially skyrocket the careers of some of these ladies to new heights.
A few weeks ago on Friday Night SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis heard the outcry of the fans who were demanding a secondary title for the WWE Women’s Division and made a historic announcement by introducing the WWE Women’s United States Championship for the SmackDown Women’s Division. Now, Monday Night RAW had their own announcement to make on this week’s edition of the show.
Women’s Intercontinental Title Introduced For WWE Women’s Division on WWE RAW 11/25/24
During this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce made a momentous announcement when he unveiled the brand-new WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship for the WWE Women’s Division on RAW, also confirming that the inaugural champion will be crowned in a tournament which will commence next week.
WWE Universe has been clamoring for a mid-card title for the WWE Women’s Division which ends today as both SmackDown and RAW Women’s Division will have a secondary title to fight for. The Stage has been set, now it is up to the talent to grab these opportunities to create history.
With the announcement of the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship, the WWE Women’s Division has a title of five different titles to compete for on the main roster which speaks volumes about the growth of the division in the last ten years judging how the women of WWE have revolutionized business in last few years.
