The Undertaker’s 10 Greatest WWE Achievements In His Career

The Undertaker will always be credited as one of the most well-respected and tenured WWE legends of all time. The Man from the dark side laid many souls to rest in his career that spanned over three decades in the global juggernaut.

While The Deadman hung up his boots in 2020, his illustrious resume has been etched in the history books forever. Moreover, Undertaker’s career is defined by some of his most successful accolades in WWE.

10 Tuwaiq Mountain Trophy Winner

The Undertaker arrived in Saudi Arabia much to the shock of the entire WWE Universe. As the finals of the Tuwaiq Trophy tournament was set to open the show, Rey Mysterio who was scheduled to battle AJ Styles was attacked backstage by his OC cohorts, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.

As the Phenomenal One was about to be declared the winner, the gong sounded over the entire stadium, and the Deadman reemerged as Rey’s replacement. Having dispatched Gallows and Anderson moments ago, Undertaker quickly smashed Styles with a thunderous Tombstone Piledriver to claim the win and the Tuwaiq Mountain Trophy.

9 WWE Hardcore Champion

At the 2001 Vengeance pay-per-view, The Undertaker challenged then-WWE Hardcore champion Rob Van Dam for the title. The entire match between RVD and The Phenom was truly outstanding, with a strong representation of two distinct wrestling philosophies.

After RVD failed to strike Taker with a Van Daminator in the last seconds of the match, The Undertaker knocked him with a chair shot and delivered a choke slam to Van Dam through several tables and off the stage. Taker subsequently pinned him to secure the win and his first and only WWE Hardcore title.

8 WWE/WCW Tag Team Champion

Despite being an accomplished singles competitor, The Undertaker has also found immense success in the tag team division. The Phenom has won several tag team titles with some of the top WWE superstars of all time such as Big Show, The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and his own brother Kane.

Overall, The Deadman is a six-time WWE tag team champion and one-time WCW tag team champion, making him a 7-time champion in the tag team reigns.

7 Slammy Award Winner

The Undertaker’s abilities as an in-ring performer and entire character presentation have earned him multiple WWE Slammy awards in his career. The Lord of Darkness has been nominated for various categories and bagged 15 Slammys, adding yet another prestigious accolade to his WWE resume.

6 Royal Rumble Winner

The Undertaker had been a part of multiple 30-man Royal Rumble matches, however, the 2007 edition was historic for the Man from the dark side. Taker entered the bout at #30 and outlasted some competitors before it came down to him and fellow WWE Hall of Famer, Shawn Michaels.

The two legends went back and forth until a missed Sweet Chin Music attempt led to Undertaker tossing Michaels over the top rope. This led to Undertaker winning his first-ever Royal Rumble match and becoming the first WWE superstar to win from the last spot.

5 World Heavyweight Champion

After winning the 2007 Royal Rumble match, The Undertaker decided to pursue the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 23, held by Batista. Both heavyweights collided in a historic bout in Detroit, Michigan with fast-paced and hard-hitting action inside the squared circle. However, in the end, Taker put down the Animal with a Tombstone Piledriver and won his first-ever World Heavyweight title in the process.

The Last Outlaw went on to become a three-time title holder, with the Big Gold Belt being the last championship he held in his WWE career.

4 WWE Champion

The Phenom made a long-lasting impression right from his debut at WWE Survivor Series in 1990. A year later at the same event, The Undertaker defeated WWE’s reigning poster boy, Hulk Hogan to win his first championship, the WWE title.

The richest prize in sports entertainment was won by him three more times during his tenured career, making Taker a four-time WWE champion. Moreover, his last WWE title win was against the same man he won his first one from, Hulk Hogan in 2002 at the Judgment Day pay-per-view.

3 Bronze Statue

The Bronze WWE statue is one of the rare and highly prestigious accolades that has been bestowed upon only a handful of names in the business. The Undertaker joined the elite rank of WWE superstars like Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Ultimate Warrior, Roddy Piper, Bruno Sammartino, and Andre The Giant in 2022.

The amazing bronze statue was revealed at the WrestleMania Axxess event by Triple H and Shawn Michaels in the presence of The Undertaker, his family, and friends which became one of the most surreal moments in his life.

2 WWE Hall Of Famer

The Undertaker took the final bow inside the squared circle in 2020, after his last cinematic bout with AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36. The Deadman formally retired at Survivor Series the same year and on the same day as his debut three decades prior.

With Mark Calaway putting The Undertaker to rest, his contributions were given one of the biggest recognition two years later in his hometown of Texas when he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2023.

1 WrestleMania Streak

It can be argued that of all the accomplishments The Undertaker has achieved in his WWE career, the streak transcends them all. The Phenom has been credited as one of the most prolific performers in WrestleMania history for his winning streak that stood for nearly two and half decades.

The Undertaker’s streak gained a life of its own over the years due to Taker delivering some of the most exceptional performances against WWE stars like Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Edge, and Mark Henry. While it came to its devastating end in 2014 at the hands of Brock Lesnar, it can be rightfully said that there will never be a streak as great as The Undertaker’s winning streak at the Grandest Stage of them all.
