Let Me Talk to Ya About LA Knight’s 5 WWE Dream Matches

LA Knight has quickly emerged as the talk of the town in the WWE landscape. After marking his mark all over the independent circuit, the charismatic star made his way to WWE NXT in 2021. He managed to replicate similar success in the developmental territory and was called up to the main roster in 2022.

However, Vince McMahon nearly destroyed his mystic after repackaging him as Max Dupri upon his arrival at SmackDown. But it was the creative genius of WWE CCO Triple H who gave LA Knight his popular gimmick back and the rest they say is history.

With the Megastar rising to the occasion with the WWE Universe firmly behind him, the sky is the limit for LA Knight and his YEAH movement. Furthermore, Knight’s caliber as a top-level attraction could further be cemented with these 5 WWE dream matches that the fans might be excited to witness.

5. LA Knight vs. AJ Styles

LA Knight not only gained prominence for his captivating personality and impressive mic work but also for the incredible in-ring acumen he possesses. That being said, the Megastar would prove to be an excellent match for one of the best in-ring workers of all time, the Phenomenal AJ Styles.

Moreover, LA Knight’s return night to WWE NXT in January 2022 came at the end of a hard-hitting clash between AJ Styles and Grayson Waller. Although the duo shared a celebratory moment together that night, it would be a sight to witness when they square off across each other in the ring for a showdown.

4. LA Knight vs. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins holds the key to the kingdom of RAW as the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, proclaiming the flagship show to be ‘Monday Night Rollins.’ The Drip God has achieved immense success in his illustrious career and battled the likes of main-event caliber stars like Roman Reigns, John Cena, Cody Rhodes, and Brock Lesnar.

However, Rollins is yet to meet the rising star power of LA Knight inside the squared circle. With the popular star making some brief appearances on RAW despite being a SmackDown superstar, there is a high possibility for a World title program between LA Knight and Seth Rollins that could be the true arrival of the Megastar in WWE.

3. LA Knight vs. Randy Orton

LA Knight has battled his fair share of top-level WWE opponents such as Cody Rhodes, Bray Wyatt, and Rey Mysterio. His excellent performances combined with his amazing charisma have established him as a popular attraction. This popularity can be capitalized on further by aligning it with the return of a WWE veteran who has been out of action for a long time- The Viper Randy Orton.

WWE’s Apex Predator has been on the shelf since May 2022 due to back issues. There have been mixed reports regarding Randy’s return to the ring. Moreover, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reported earlier that Orton was not cleared up until the SummerSlam weekend. While he does plan to return, a feud with LA Knight could be a great way for Randy Orton to make a strong comeback and put over the rising star as one of the future marquee attractions for the company.

2. LA Knight vs. John Cena

John Cena recently came back to WWE television programming to become a prominent fixture on SmackDown. However, his hosting duties for WWE Payback saw him being inserted into the rivalry between LA Knight and The Miz as the special guest referee. While the 16-time WWE champion did make the three count for LA Knight, things did not end on a friendly note for both superstars who had a brief staredown at the end of the match, with John Cena raising his hand in victory.

Moreover, LA Knight boldly declared on the following edition of SmackDown that he did not need Cena’s endorsement, planting the seeds for a potential feud between them. Therefore, a collision between the Franchise Player and the Megastar of WWE would surely prove to be a blockbuster encounter.

1. LA Knight vs Roman Reigns

LA Knight is riding the wave of success as the Megastar of WWE. However, he must not forget that the company is currently under siege by the record-smashing Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. The Tribal Chief has proved to be one of the biggest stars in the history of WWE and cemented himself as ‘The Only One.’

However, Reigns has slowly transitioned into a part-time attraction and could help build a bright future for WWE by feuding with LA Knight. This could be the biggest program for Knight’s rising career and establish him as the moniker he is synonymous with, “Megastar.” Fans have been longing for this match and the next best stage for a Reigns-LA Knight collision could be WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.
